The Week That Was 16th December 2016

Advent week 3 The Lord is near. We had a special visitor to the school on Wednesday. Ask your child if they haven’t told you already. I wonder how many children actually managed to save their present for the 25th?

The reception and KS1 children performed extremely well on Tuesday and despite my illness on the day a parent kindly gave me a video of the show so I have now managed to watch it and it was brilliant. Thank you for your support with costumes etc.

The pantomime went down a real treat and the disco too was enjoyed by all who attended. We thank the school office and Mrs Curry for making these events happen.

Tuesday is mufti day and if your child wishes to wear a Christmas jumper all the better. It is £1 and the money is going to ‘Children are Butterfly's’ charity.

Final key dates:

Monday 19th December KS2 Nativity Play, 1.30pm or 6.30pm

Tuesday 20th December-Final school day of 2016-3.15pm finish.

Have a good weekend.

Mr Wilson
