The Week That Was 6th January 2017

Happy New Year and welcome back. The school officially celebrated its 40th birthday on the Kings Heath site today as well as marking the Epiphany, the day when the three kings visited baby Jesus.

Next Thursday at 10am, Bishop Peter will be celebrating Mass to mark this occasion. All are welcome however, due to space we need the reply slip back by Monday if you are wishing to attend. It was attached to a letter that went out yesterday.

The New Year brings new hope and to start fresh especially in areas that we need to make strong. The first part is our school packed lunches. The emphasis is to keep snack foods for snack times e.g. crisps, chocolate. We are promoting healthy packed lunches. If you log onto the Change for Life website it has many great ideas for packed lunch boxes.

I am not saying don’t eat chocolate or crisps, just not for lunch.

Have a good weekend.
