The Week that Was 18.05.18

Dear Parents

I would just like to say a big ‘Well Done’ to all of our year 6 children who have worked extremely hard throughout this year and during their SATs papers this week. We are proud of you and we hope you all enjoyed your bowling trip today!

It was lovely to see so many of you attending our first numeracy workshop. We have some more opportunities planned for next academic year and we hope you will continue to join us and support your children's learning.

Year 2 have been working extremely hard and they too have some special assignments next week. We would like year 2 children to join us at 8.30am next week for a special breakfast of croissants and fruit.

Year 5 children are off to Walsingham very soon and in order to support them, we are carrying out some fundraising over the next few weeks. We are starting by selling hotdogs at morning break on Wednesday 23rd May. Hotdogs can be purchased at £1 each.

Thank you all for your help getting children ready to celebrate the royal wedding today. Our reception children have had great fun, making wedding dresses from rolls of toilet paper and alongside children in KS1, have been designing a dress suitable for Meghan to wear on her special day!!!

Myself and a number of staff had a lovely Saturday celebrating Holy Communion at Saint Thomas of Canterbury Cathedral and we are looking forward to the celebrations on Sunday at St Stanislaus and St Lawrence's Church. It us a real honour to see you all on your special day.
