The Week That Was 8th June 2018

Dear Parents/Carers

We hope you all had a lovely Spring bank Break. The children have been in great spirits this week. Mrs Wilson and Mrs Cook enjoyed the special Mass at St Stanislaus & St Lawrences on Sunday to celebrate a number of our children making their first Holy Communion and we look forward to celebrating with you all again At our special mass in school on the 13th June. Year 5 enjoyed their residential trip to Walsingham with Mrs Merriman, Mrs Rowles and Deacon Michael and a wonderful time was had by all. I do hear there was some paddling in the seas. A big thank you to all three adults who I know are looking forward to a relaxing weekend. A number of year five children also took on the role of classroom assistants this week doing a marvellous job supporting our younger children. Great to see so many of you at our Race for Life event today! All sponsorship going to a very worthy cause. Thank you to Mrs Wilson and Mrs Aris for organising and to Mrs Auburn and all our parent helpers. We were all extremely grateful to receive a bacon sandwich! Mrs Cadd also had the pleasure of attending Bishop Peters Mass with Mrs Rowles and Ivy and Karl from year 5 who were a credit representing the school.

Have a Wonderful weekend

God Bless
