The Week That Was
The Week That Was 08.03.19
There have been so many wonderful events this week to talk about. Monday, I saw amazing writing and tasted some yummy bread form our fabulous reception children. The yumminess continued on Tuesday when we tried some pancakes with a choice of toppings. We began our day learning about Shrove Tuesday and how it symbolises the beginning of Lent. Deacon Michael and Mrs Merriman led our lovely service during which we received our ashes with our friends. Thank you to the families who joined us on this special occasion.
I never thought I would come to work dressed as a Pink crayon. Thank you Mrs Webb for organising a fantastic world book day. Our book was 'The day the Crayons Quit.' and we made a wonderful box of crayons. Thanks to all of you, parents who made the effort to ensure the children were able to participate in the day.
Thanks to all the staff for all the hard work, they did preparing the information for parents evenings this week. Thanks to all of you who attended and for completing the parent questionnaires. We will take on board all of your comments.
Today we welcomed CAFOD and we ended the day with a performance from Moulton college students.
I wonder what next week will bring.
Have a great weekend!
