PE Sports Funding

PE Sports Funding Allocation 2015/2016

Starting this academic year schools in England will receive funding of £8,000 per year, plus £5 per pupil, as part of a £150m funding plan to improve specialist PE coaching in primary schools.

At St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School we plan to use this money to enable pupils to be more involved in sport as part of adopting healthy lifestyles.

Teachers, TAs and children have the means to learn specialist PE skills from PE specialists.

Participation in Duston Cluster Sports Competitions

Greater emphasis on competition and applying sports skills to games situations. Promoting team work and aspiration

Participation with the Northampton Saints Study Support Centre

Access to wider opportunities

Provide sports opportunities during activity camp

Access to a variety of sports and activities including rock climbing, martial arts, aussie rules, tag rugby, etc.
